Monty the Fish Goes to the Zoo

Looking for the perfect book for the children in your life, look no further than Vivienne Alonge’s new book Monty the Fish Goes to the Zoo.

“Monty was an idea. I had to occupy my children and their friends on a stormy day in Texas. Give them the latitude to discover their imagination. From there Monty came to life,” she said.

“A fish that behaves like a child, doing things that we love to do. Thanks to those youngsters, my thoughts went to what out of character other animals can do. So here we are with Monty going to the Zoo. I hope you enjoy.”

The book is receiving rave reviews.

“My nine month daughter and my nieces (two years old and four years old) LOVE this book! I got it yesterday, but they didn’t get to see it until today, and all three of them enjoyed having it read to then numerous times, and then my nieces took turns looking at it on their own. They love the bright colors and naming all the animals and finding the hidden worm,” wrote Kylee Denning as an Amazon reviewer.

Vivienne Alonge grew up in Newcastle Upon Tyne. She moved around the country and then around the world including a trip to Africa.

“Whilst on this journey to Nigeria I met my lovely husband and started a new journey.
I have four beautiful children and four life giving grandsons. And now our first granddaughter. Here I am many years later in Texas writing some of my thoughts and memories to you, I hope you will enjoy them.”

The book is not just great for home reading, its excellent for schools too.

My first graders really enjoyed this book,” wrote Katie Gilmore as an Amazon reviewer. “We read it before going on a field trip to the zoo. We talked about fiction and non-fiction and decided to write our own book about going to the zoo. Great story.”

Award-winning sci-fi novel is a page burner!

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 6 — Falling From Eden, Inc., award-winning sci-fi novel by Ross Wright, published by Bazorg Press, is a page burner. “Just as you get comfortable and think you know where it’s going, Wright takes it up a notch. Each character has a back story creating a relationship between the reader and the characters. I would endorse this book to anyone who enjoys many levels of adventure.” B. Shepard

In Falling From Eden, Inc., to save his father’s waning gym business, Ethan takes a lucrative out-of-town job—way out of town, at a space resort orbiting Earth. Flying debris devastates the resort, leaving sole survivors Ethan and his friend Ascot exiled for eight years until they can aim an escape pod at their home planet. Back on Earth, they realize that years of living in artificial gravity have augmented their strength and senses. The U.S. is now ruled by militaristic corporations, including Eden, Inc., the creator of the cosmic resort.

From the moment Ethan returns to Earth, he is hunted at every turn by Casper Degas, the sociopath CEO of Eden Inc. and his team of uniquely equipped super-assassins, who will go to any length to make sure that Ethan doesn’t stay alive to expose the accident that they have so ruthlessly covered up and derail their plans to monopolize celestial real estate.

Through a turbulent stream of events, Ethan discovers his true values and how he is going to put his newfound skills to use. Ethan’s summer job begins as a simple attempt to save a small family business but instead he goes on a surreal journey and is transformed into a man with the potential to save the world from a maniacal industrialist who is willing to destroy the planet in order to control it.

A one-click solution will make book, movie & music websites more attractive

Many people who search book, music and movie websites for ideas on what to read, watch or listen to next like to check them out at their local library before deciding to buy. Doing this can be a complicated process. Link2Library will find out, without moving from the site being visited, if the item is available at the searcher’s local library.

Link2Library Director and Co-Founder Heidi Z Yao, Ph.D., said the idea for the site came from the fact that when she visited book recommendation sites and found a title that drew her attention she often wanted to have a trial look at it. The process necessary to find out if the title was available at her local library involved several clicks and other steps, and she wondered if it could be possible to access a library website directly from the one she was visiting.

Today Link2Library provides a convenient tool for visitors browsing book, movie and music websites to check whether any item is available at their home library with just one click. Having the Find in Library button on a site makes it more user-friendly. After Find in Library is integrated into a site, Link2Library automatically detects nearby libraries when visitors click the access button. Once the home library is confirmed, a catalog search for the desired item is performed.

In addition to catalog sites such as Amazon, users of sources such as Goodreads can add a Find in Library button to their account. By doing this a direct library check for availability can be made as soon as the review or description is read. As a demonstration, www.aboutread.com is developed by Link2Library Inc. to show how Find in Library button works after integrating to a website.

More than 10,000 libraries in the USA and Canada have been integrated to Link2 Library, and new libraries are added regularly based upon suggestions from libraries and users of the new site. There is no cost for using Link2Library for non-profit websites. For other websites, after a one month free trial, a subscription fee is based on monthly traffic.

Complete information on what Link2Library does and how to use it can be found at www.link2library.com. Questions can be emailed through the contact form on the site.

About Link2Library: The mission of Link2Library is to provide a handy tool to book, movie and music websites so that their visitors can check any library item’s availability at home library with one click.
